The best thing to do with dandelions is blow their seeds everywhere. Do it in their garden so they definitely know you’re doing something with them.

I’d wait until they Puff and put up a sign “pick & blow” to ensure they propegate well.

They are good for bees, if someone said that to me I would tell them to stop being a tight ass and think about the environment

The person who wrote that sign is just begging for a yard full of dandelions. What were they thinking?

Our yard is a huge mix of grass, clover, and “weeds” like wild violets, strawberries, dandelions, and tons of other stuff. I have three neighbors that detest weeds, treat them specifically, and use tons of water to keep their grass nice. We’re all still friends! I joke that one hates me because my clover seed washes downhill to his yard, but really he doesn’t. I’m also very open about my hatred of grass only lawns and they all tease me about it. More people need to understand it’s okay for other people to make different choices than you.

Haha I love this. I’m the only one on my street that lets the lawn go wild a bit in May and though I’ve never gotten any heat, it does weigh in my mind. If I’m every chastised I’m gonna do this

What if I like dandelions in my lawn, why tf is it their business

I would interpret this to mean there are not enough dandelions and would immediately run out to collect as many fluffy ones as possible, then sit in the middle of my lawn blowing the seeds everywhere. When that’s done, I’d pull out any materials I had to make little farm signs that say DANELION ACRES. Then I’d go out and buy as many lawn gnomes and tiny farm trucks as possible and place those around the lawn, too. I’d build tiny trellises and place stone pathways.
Do something about the dandelions? DONE! Now I’m a dandelion farmer, this is my crop, these are my employees, and if the neighbour comes back one more time, I’ll turn their likeness into a scarecrow effigy.
